After a week of busy training, our horses have a chill day on Saturday. In the morning they go – as every day – for 30-minute into the walker, then I lunge them with our cavesson and, if the weather permits, a couple of hours on the paddock or the pasture.
Giro drops his neck without running on his forehand and arches his back with active hindquarters. For this stretching work, we only use the cavesson Vienna Style without a bridle, so that the horse can carry itself in what is known as “half posture”. Nevertheless, he chews happily as you can see from the lipstick.
