…what about the rider?

We always take care about our horses fitness, but how is it about your own?
Are you cardiovascularly fit enough?
Are you movable in your joints or do you already have problems in you back?

All horses and riders are athletes!

But if you are already tired after warming up you have to think about your fitness. One or two times a week go out for jogging, go swimming or bicycling.
If you have already back problems I give you following advice: stretching your body – only 5-10 minutes a day – helps a lot to feel better. In the beginning you will hate it, but if you get used to it I bet you feel better, you feel your horse better and you’re able to move better.
As mentioned below you will find easy exercises helping especially equestrians who have to take care about a strong lower back and stay supple at the same time.
